Ran a mile at the indoor track at the Sanderson before riding the stationary bike for 30 minutes.

Ran outside around a neighborhood near campus.  It was a beautiful day with a temperature around 40, which is perfect running weather for me with respect to performance.

Ran on a treadmill for the first time in a while, and I was reminded why I like them.  They are very useful for keeping a constant pace without wondering how fast you are going.

Ran on a treadmill after lifting weights.  I've continued to prove my hypothesis that I run sooooooo much better in the morning than any other time (0.05 level of significance).

you know, ultras generally start pretty early in the morning, so you should run great in one of them...

(and i'm loving the statistical analysis of the time-of-day-significance...)

Trying to finally get back into the groove of running.  My thought was i would gradually increase my distance each day at a constant pace.  Started at 9:30 min/mile today.  Hopefully I can keep it up!

Last week didn't turn out like I'd planned, but this week should be easier.

Another 2 miles and 20 minutes on the bike.  I'm hoping the bike will add some cardio and help to regain some leg stamina.

Ran for the 30 minutes at the same 9:30 pace.  Best run I've had in a really long time.

Treadmill is working ok so far.  If I can keep up this schedule, I can really make some strides by the end of the summer.

Another good distance run.  I find I'm getting back into the groove of pushing myself, and I plan to continue more distance runs in the next few weeks, gradually increasing speed.

Didn't work out this time and it made the run a lot easier, which isn't surprising.  I think I need to make Saturdays long distance days

I had to struggle through this run at the beginning, but I made it over the hump and the run was a lot more enjoyable for the last mile or so.  I hope this means that I have built up enough distance to begin to quicken my pace

Another solid, long run.  Didn't lift today since i haven't been all week....wanted to make sure and get a good run in.  I was able to push myself pretty hard towards the end.

This run had some tough parts....I really had to push it during some of it, but usually if I can reach the two mile mark I'm able to finish the run.  The treadmill just works the best for me since it's so hot outside right now, so I think I'm going to continue with the treadmill until I'm convinced I should do something else.

5 miles is the longest I have run in a long time.....I took the day off from lifting for a cardio day, and it definitely enabled me to run longer.  I can definitely see cardio day becoming a weekly regiment

ran outside early this morning....haven't run outside in a while, but it went pretty well.  It wasn't that hot, just really humid.  I think if I can make this a habit it will be easier to maintain my running schedule when things get really busy.

I was running on the treadmill this morning and it was getting pretty tough about half-way through and then Freebird came on the radio.  I was thinking "i won't look at the clock until free bird is over."  When I did.....my run was over.

Ran around campus with Lindsay I haven't run outside in a while, and it had just rained so it was nice and cool.  More importantly, I got to run with my favorite person!!!

The morning run didn't go quite as well this time, but it's cool because I should have plenty of time this weekend to get in some good exercise.  Thinking of going for a long run on Saturday whilst watching some college football!!!

I was able to finish another good run on the treadmill.  I did experience some pain in the muscle around my shin which I think was caused by the old, worn out treadmill I was on.  It bothered me for about 15 minutes after I finished, but then the pain subsided.

My leg did not give me any problems today, but the run was still tough around the 2 mile mark as I began to tire, but I persevered!
